In class, students received awards for their poetry from last quarter. Then, they traded their rough drafts with another student in class and edited/proofread their partner's essay.

Due: Essay Outline & book in class
During class, students reviewed the different types of persuasion by creating skits with their groups. Then we discussed out to write an effective and well organized introduction paragraph & thesis statement. Finally, students had time to start writing their own intro paragraphs for their school issues essay.
