This morning, all 7th graders took their Final State Writing Test for the year!!! Then, students watched Chicken Run as part of their current Science unit :)

HW: Vocab. Quiz (last for the year!) tomorrow and bring a book to class!

In class, students completed their 2nd EOG review and then continued reading their realistic fiction books. Then, we reviewed the EOG WS and talked about tomorrow's writing test.

In class, we reviewed the literary terms and went over an EOG practice from last week. Then, students had time to read and/or work on their realistic fiction book. Then, we played a game to review literary terms.

Due: Book in class

In class, students received their 4th (and FINAL) vocabulary list for the year. Then, I showed students 2 book talks by teachers in the building. We then went to the library where students had time to read, check out books, and/or work on a book project. Finally, students received a matching worksheet to help them review figurative language for the EOG.
