Due: Editorial Cartoons
In class, I introduced students to the TEPS paragraph organization. We took notes on TEPS and then students analyzed a sample paragraph to find each element of organization. Finally, students read articles about different issues in the media and wrote their own TEPS paragraphs arguing their own opinion.
HW: (1) Study: vocab, homophones, & apostrophes quiz tomorrow!
(2) Bring your independent reading book to class for a grade!
(3) Make up work (test, project, and/or quiz corrections)
(4) Finish paragraph from class
